LAITS provides technology support for instruction, research, and administration to various units throughout the UT campus. My work at LAITS involves contributing to different projects aimed at assisting professors in maintaining their online presence and helping departments to revamp their websites.

VieTalk is a non-profit project created out of the desire to introduce and bring the Vietnamese language and culture globally. The project aims to teach Vietnamese at no cost. Starting from August 2020, we have received over 600 applicants, welcomed 145 students for our first cohort and 20 instructors from around the world

  • Using Xcode with Swift, I developed and designed an iOS application that incorporated Core Data as the database. To enhance the app's functionality, I integrated various CocoaPods.
  • One notable feature I included was an animation that displays three buttons (Add Tasks, Events, and Projects) when the user clicks the "Add Tasks" button.
  • Additionally, I incorporated a feature similar to the swiping function of the Tinder app, which allows users to swipe through tasks.
  • Other features that worth mentioning: the ability to search tasks based on the color code and the project it was in, show the calendar that has all of the tasks, show the all of the tasks in one project, and set reminders for the task.
